Welcome to the Canine Fitness Club

Welcome to the Canine Fitness Club

I’m so glad you’re here. The Canine Fitness Club was created to make dog conditioning simple, safe, and enjoyable for every owner — whether you’re just starting out, building a stronger foundation for your sport dog, or simply wanting to help your companion move and feel better.

This space is designed with beginners in mind. You don’t need a background in anatomy, training, or canine sports to get started. Everything is broken down into clear, easy‑to‑follow steps, with plenty of guidance to help you and your dog succeed together.

At the heart of this club are two core beliefs:

  • Fitness should be fun and accessible
  • Every dog can benefit from conditioning

You’ll learn how to teach exercises safely, how to recognise correct form, and how to progress at a pace that suits your dog. We’ll keep things friendly and supportive, but also grounded in science and best practice — so you can feel confident that what you’re doing is both effective and safe.

This club is not designed for rehabilitation or injury recovery, but it is perfect for building strength, balance, body awareness, and confidence in healthy dogs of all ages and backgrounds.

Most importantly, you and your dog will learn together in a way that strengthens your bond and celebrates progress, no matter how small.

What You Can Expect Inside

  • Clear, step‑by‑step exercise instructions
  • Photos, demonstrations, and troubleshooting tips
  • Guidance on correct form and safe progression
  • Supportive explanations without overwhelming jargon
  • A focus on building strong foundations before moving on
  • Encouragement to go at your dog’s pace — not anyone else’s

About Me

Hi, I’m Hannah — the creator of the Canine Fitness Club.

My passion for canine health runs deep. I’ve dedicated my career to helping dogs move better, feel stronger, and live their happiest, healthiest lives. As a qualified hydrotherapist and the co‑developer and author of the OFQUAL‑regulated Level 4 in Canine Physical Training, I’ve spent years studying how dogs’ bodies work and how we can support them safely through fitness and conditioning.

But my journey didn’t start in a classroom — it started with my own dog, Luna.

Luna was bright, sensitive, and eager, but she also struggled with fear‑based reactivity and a long list of health issues, including hip dysplasia, arthritis, allergies, and digestive problems. Supporting her through all of this taught me that behaviour and physical health are deeply connected, and that so many dogs labelled “difficult” are actually hurting.

Her challenges pushed me to learn everything I could — hydrotherapy, physiotherapy, and eventually co‑developing and authoring the OFQUAL‑regulated Level 4 in Canine Physical Training. Luna showed me how powerful fitness can be for improving comfort, confidence, and quality of life, and how important it is to meet every dog with compassion and understanding.

She shaped the way I teach and the reason I’m so passionate about making canine fitness accessible, kind, and achievable for everyone. Everything I share in this club is rooted in what she taught me — that when we understand our dogs’ bodies, we can help them live happier, healthier lives.

My teaching style blends science‑based knowledge with a friendly, supportive approach. I know how overwhelming it can feel when you want to do the best for your dog but aren’t sure where to start. That’s why everything in this club is broken down clearly, without jargon, and with plenty of encouragement along the way.

I truly believe that when owners feel confident, dogs thrive.

And that’s exactly what this club is here to help you achieve — safe, enjoyable conditioning that strengthens your dog’s body, boosts their wellbeing, and deepens the bond you share.
